Special Topics in French Literature; Gender and Identity in Film and Literature of the French-Speaking World
Prerequisite: FREN 301 and FREN 351 or FREN 352. This course encourages students to engage with a wide variety of materia ls (literary texts, films, newspaper articles, podcasts etc) order to ex plore the constructions of gender, race, ethnicity and identity in conte mporary France and the French-speaking world.
