Seminar in International Relations and World Politics; Armed Militias

Prerequisite: GVPT200. Restriction: Must be in Government & Politics program or Government & Politics: International Relations program. This course explores the foundations of armed militias domestically and internationally. Through this examination, we discuss how, when, and where these movements form and their definition of success. We will first look internationally at conflicts of rebellion and self-determination and later transition to armed movements within the United States.
