The nicest and most laid back professor you will meet. It's flipped, so you watch a lecture every week, and you meet once a week to discuss and take a quiz. However, if you have a good discussion, he forgoes the quiz which is the case most of the time. The material is simple to digest and very insightful on how you can improve your cardiovascular health and the dire importance of physical activity. There are two exams, and I'll say the first is very easy and the second is very challenging. I suggest you take notes on every lecture you watch, or create some flashcards and you will be completely fine. The writing assigments seem daunting but if you give an honest effort, you will be fine.

Do not take this class. Although this teacher is a good teacher and the class is interesting the work load and amount of work i have had to put into this class just to get a mere C is ridiculous. I took this class as an easy core and was fooled. Although I could have put more work into this class I was told it was and EASY A. All i have to say is false advertising.

This class was way too much work and way too hard for a core class. quizzes every week, and you need to study at least an hour for each one. there are two writing assignments and each one takes an extremely long time. tests are hard but theres a big curve. overall it was an ok class, you learn a lot, but be warned that it is a lot of work.

Easy Class. She posts the lectures online, and then you just come to class to review them. There are a few EASY assignments, such as a family health tree, which are mad easy. Midterm was pretty difficult but it was curved 20 points and the final wasn't too bad.
