KNES405 Expecting a B+ Anonymous 12/13/2022 |
KNES405 is hard and will absolutely require studying for the 4-5 oral practicals. The practicals are split between the five units based on body section, you draw two random and demonstrate your ability to find origin, insertion, nerve innervation and actions it does as well as a muscle test on a partner in 10 mins. If you're a PA, PT, Nursing or Pre-med major, ect. I would highly recommend this class, but be prepared to memorize a lot! Written exams are online and at home with lockdown. Dr. Plotkins and Dr. Klossner teach this class together and they are both awesome. They really want you to learn and understand the material and can be flexible in ensuring you succeed. You only fail this class if you don't show up or continuously fail to study for OPs. Grading is fair and the TA (shoutout Sammy!) we had this semester really gave his all in ensuring the written papers (one group and one short individual) and exam prep were helpful! As hard as I found it to be at times I really do value this course and how passionate the entire teaching team was. Students claim having Dr. P was easier for the practicals but I believe both professors expressed fairness in grading and flexibility so don't be shy to do an OP with Dr. Klossner. |
