Prerequisite: PHYS131; or students who have taken courses with comparable content may contact the department. Credit only granted for: PHYS122, PHYS132, or PHYS332. The second part of a two-semester course in general physics specifically oriented towards applications relevant for students in biology and pre-medical programs. The course covers basic statistical physics, electricity and magnetism, and optics done in authentic biological contexts. Students must pay a $50.00 lab materials fee.
