Special Topics in Advanced Performing Arts; The Art of Storytelling in the Written Short Story and in t he Performed Oral Story

We will focus on the evolvement of the story-teller role as a mediator between fiction and truth, especially in the Jewish and Israeli literature. The course will be divided into a theoretical part followed by a pr actical part. In the theoretical part we will read and analyze a short story per week. In the practical part we will identify various approaches, traditional and modern, to story-telling in which the students will practice presenting short stories.
