She was nice and a good lecturer. Her slides were informative and she explained concepts well and used examples. She assigned some case studies and expected you to read them thoroughly and then talked about them in the following class. She expects participation and grades on it, so you have to be ready because she cold-calls. I thought she was nice though and explained the assignments and expectations well. I didn't mind her class. She did emphasize Markstrat a lot but gave us time to work on it during class. We had a final as well which was three parts and decently difficult. Overall, she was pretty good. |

I personally didn't mind her class. She goes over case studies and has class-wide discussions which make you want to participate. The first half of her class was based off of cases and actual material. (She takes attendance and it's part of your grade). However, the second half was all Markstrat. I personally had a horrible group that placed poorly and was all over the place, but she gives you class time to work with them on decisions. I did really well on her midterm and there is no final. The Markstrat stuff is what threw me off but her as a professor she is fine. I would recommend her but if there was another professor who was a bit more personable I would suggest them. |
