If its your first time taking a Python course good luck! The professor shows no mercy. He is very kind though and helpful if you ask questions. You must know everything on the ppt slides to do well on the quizzes. As for the midterm it was hard and no practice exams or examples to prep. I didn't get the textbook so that may be why. His TA was awful and very unfair. She took points off and was not consistent across the board. Not sure if she had a rubric but it was absolutely ridiculous. I would take another with this professor if I had to. |

Personally, I very much liked Prof. Huang. The way he laid out assignments were very helpful to learn, yet also saved lots of time but not having us write out a blank code for each. The tests and quizzes were fair, and overall this course was not too time consuming. I would recommend taking him. Also for the course work, the fellowship section is virtually the same as the other sections from what I could tell. |

I really liked Professor Huang. Not sure what people are talking about when it comes to him making fun of you. I went to him many times after class and on Zoom if I needed extra help which he was very willing to give. He clearly explains the course material and I liked the structure of the Hw's and the in-class codings. Only thing is lectures can be dry, but I feel like that's just because this is a coding class. |

This was by far my favorite course this semester. Professor Huang made my first coding course fun and engaging. I really enjoyed his teaching style and the structure of the course. Especially with coding, you really have to do it yourself to learn. We coded a lot in this class so I really feel like I learned a lot. Professor Huang clearly cared about his students and held us to a high standard while also being very understanding. |

Terrible prof, had to take him because there was no other teacher for 302F. Lectures are extremely boring and you learn nothing. He's not approachable and makes fun of you when you make mistakes which ??? His TA was useless and screwed a bunch of students over because they didn't grade assignments fairly and didn't follow any rubric. You have to learn all material on your own. Textbook is super helpful and your key to success in this course. Just read the slides and textbooks before exams and you'll be fine I guess. |

Not very helpful, boring professor, hard to understand. Everyone in this class is on their phones while he teaches. Not engaging at all. I do not look forward to asking him for help because he explains the topics without enough clarity. When my group asked him for help about a certain concept, he just said "You really don't know how to do this?" and giggled and ridiculed at us for two minutes instead of providing a straightforward answer. I had to take him for BMGT302F. I've heard great things about Bono, and if you have the option, I would definitely take him instead. I've overheard Bono in conversations with students encouraging them sincerely even if they come to him saying that they are struggling. Huang is the opposite of Bono. Neither he nor his lectures motivate the students in the class to learn the material. |

He doesn't teach in a very interesting way but if you put in effort to stay awake during class you'll learn a lot and succeed on the quizzes and tests, which are straightforward. Projects can be difficult later on but if you start early and go to the TA's office you'll be fine. Not hard to get an A in this class since the cutoff is a 90 |

Dr. Huang is a great professor! Coding is difficult and he explains the concepts in-depth in class. He's understanding and accommodating and makes himself available for assistance before HW (codes) are due. I've learned a lot in this course and I really liked it! The content is challenging but the course is not difficult to get an A in if you do the assignments. |

Very good teacher with Visual Basic. Makes BMGT302 such an easy class. Very easy projects (I was able to do them starting at 8 P.M. the night they were due and finishing by midnight). Very easy in class quizzes (which he announces the dates of on the syllabus, so his class is also very easy to skip as long as you don't skip a quiz). His exams are also very easy. Got a 100% on the final just by spending 2 hours studying the slides. It's a very easy class with this professor. |

He tries really hard to teach you, but this is a coding class and it needs to be more hands on and computer based. Also, it doesn't help that you can't understand a damn word he says. I would recommend taking someone else if you have the chance. He give big homeworks every two weeks and they get increasingly difficult as time goes on. Don't fall be hind at the beginning of the semester or you might as well quit |
