INAG201 Expecting an A- Anonymous 05/23/2025 |
He's... okay. His teaching style is lacking (reads off slides only), and his exams aren't too difficult. He will throw random crap on the exams that was never covered in class, but they never hurt my grades too terribly. One thing I do despise, are his nasty jokes. Listen, I can get behind a couple dirty jokes as a light form of dark humor, but when you talk about womens genitals for a solid 3-4 jokes when we're meant to be talking about soil pH, I do find it unprofessional. That's only one example though. I'm not going to write them all out, or I'd be here all day. I've taken about 4 classes with him so far, so I've had to listen to his gross jokes way to much. Maybe it's just because I'm around him so much that my temper is super short, but damn, it gets sick. |

Not everyone is a fan of him or his teaching style but he's a great dude. Lectures are optional and he always uploads the slides on Canvas (has the tendency to read off of some slides/ramble about semi-irrelevant turf grass stories but that's his charm lol). Show up to lab every week and ask good questions/be engaged in content and he'll give you extra credit. Super easy project for 10% of your grade that takes like 30 minutes to do. The average exam grade floats around a 70-75%. Not that hard if you treat it like a stem course and become familiar with the basics; it's known for being one of the more intensive INAG courses but it's really not bad at all. The people who take this course and complain about it being difficult would be obliterated by ENST 200 |

kenny is awesome and really easy to work with. there are a couple projects but they're really easy if you start them early. to study for exams and lab practicals, i recommend creating quizlets with terminology. if you understand basic concepts and know all the terminology, you can easily pass the class. lab practicals are essentially a vocab test where you go from station to station and have to label what the thing is. a wordbank is proviedd but not all words are used, and not all words are included, but the wordbank is a good list of terms to start studying. labs nearly always finished early. |

Good professor, but I wish he would post his assignments online. |

Kenny is great! Golf course design is a super unique class and you can tell he actually cares about the things he's talking about. As someone who was just a casual golfer looking for a gen ed, he really improved my understanding and appreciation for the game. |

Kenny is a great guy. You can tell he knows/cares a lot about the information he is teaching. Lectures are not mandatory, but if you attend, he gives you hints about what will be on the exam. Just for showing up to lab, you get an A on the worksheet. The only con is that a HUGE part of your grade is based on the exams, so it's important to do well on them. There was one project which was super easy. He gave us a month to do it, but I did it the same day it was assigned since he explained how to do it step by step. |

All around great guy. I took this class thinking it would be a free gen ed and while it is a free gen ed I learned a lot and really came away with a deeper and more appreciate understanding of trees. Kenneth is just so understanding, he makes funny jokes in class, and you can really tell he knows his stuff. |

kenny is the best. lectures are chill, not mandatory to go to but they are helpful. super sweet guy and cares about students, and very accommodating. 3 exams with a final and a 'land use project' which is not too hard to do. labs are kinda fun, he will help with answers as well. |
