I took NFSC498 to write a literature review paper by myself (but with his guidance) as an undergrad, because I was super interested in a specific nutrition topic at the time. Dr. Lee and I would message via email every 2-3 weeks so that I could show him my progress and ask for any necessary guidance. I only met with him twice in-person at the beginning of the semester to narrow down what topic I wanted to write about in my paper. He was very kind, and I could tell that he had a lot of knowledge about nutrition's connection to disease. I would recommend NFSC498 (usually listed as "individual study") only if you are a driven student who wants to write about or investigate a specific nutritional topic (i.e. you are self-motivated to study a topic and enjoy doing research alone). |

This class has 4 professors teaching the lectures. There are five random pop quizzes that are for extra credit so you go to lecture. Exams are really easy. If you make flash cards for the questions to ponder you will do well. |
