Easy course if you just put a little bit of effort in. I had her classes online and tried to participate a little bc I felt bad that most students didn't open cameras (no hate) but overall easy course. Very important to focus and take some notes though because you will be using the information you learned to include in your assignments.

such an easy gen-ed!! Would definitely recommend it to anyone. She is such a sweet and understanding professor so she is really easy to work with. We have zoom classes on Monday/Wednesday but either way most lecture material is posted on elms! Minimal work/assignments in this class too which is super nice.

If you are looking for an easy elective I definitely recommend this one! One thing I liked about the class is we did not meet on Friday, instead she assigned a reading, lecture, or some play to watch. The professor is very kind and workload is very light. Each week, there is a discussion board post where you have to write 3 facts you learned and then 2 things you are confused about or two additional facts you learned. You also have to respond to someone else's post. BUT BE WARNED: you NEED to include information from both lectures AND the asynchronous lecture she posts on Friday. You either get full credit or no credit. If your response is too vague on any of the lectures SHE WILL GIVE YOU A ZERO and there are no redos. The 5 facts you write really don't need to be long, just make sure it's clear that you did all the work that week. The midterm was really short and easy, but the final paper was actually pretty long. However, as long as you go to lecture and take notes, the paper is not bad at all.

Love this professor! She cares very deeply about her students and flexible with assignments as there is minimal work. You do have to show up and participate a little or just listen in to understand the concept but overall, great professor and fun material!

This online class was very interesting, easy, chill and the work was not that hard. Had zoom meets Mon/Wed and a discussion post to do every Fri. The midterm was writing a paragraph on a Theater Theorist. The final was answering questions in depth with examples related to what we learned throughout the semester which wasn't that bad. She has a positive attitude, is understanding and accepts late work with no penalty (except midterm and final). Would recommend this class to anyone looking for an easy gen ed!
