Text and Context in Western Theatre

Restriction: Permission of ARHU-School of Theatre, Dance & Performance Studies department. Introduction to the analysis and critique of the play script. Students will have the opportunity to read, analyze, and interpret western dramatic literature from a range of periods and styles. Texts are analyzed from a variety of theatrical analytical perspectives, with an eye towards choices theatre artists must make in the creation of a theatrical production.
