Lindsey May is awesome. This class is not awesome. If you aren't an architecture major, don't take this as a gen ed unless you're super interested in it. As an architecture major, I felt like it was a lot of busy work. However, the class is interesting and Professor May is really sweet. Also, my TA was awesome, so I got super lucky. There's a lot of work, but just stay on top of everything and you'll probably be fine. PARTICIPATION COUNTS. Like, a LOT. So if you don't want to show up at 9am on a Friday, think about that when deciding if you want to take this class. |

I really like professor may but this course was really frustrating at times because you could get a low grade on a very open-ended assignment which could bring your grade down multiple percents. for being an "easy-A" gened I found this class to be a little more heavy than I anticipated with weekly project posts and high-risk 5pt quizzes. Also, if you miss one class, your grade goes down significantly, but its barely worth any points when you actually show up. Although it was interesting class as someone who likes architecture, I cant say I'd recommend to anyone whos looking for a super easy gened. |
