This class was really engaging. I like how she incorporated the warm-ups at the beginning of every class and the projects that we worked on over the course of the semester. There were about 3 projects that we worked on. I liked how she really challenged us and made us think critically as well. The courseload was very light and the projects were not really hard to do. Each project required a presentation which was very good because it really made me more confident when it comes to public speaking. One thing I would have liked is an option for the warm-ups to be online and for there to be more organization regarding each project because sometimes it was confusing.

Super chill and kind professor. Her classes are fun and engaging, this class was a lot of fun for me because my friends were in it and we were able to work together on the projects. I looked forward to coming to this class, one of the best upper-level info science electives and Professor Pasquetto made it a lot of fun. 10/10 would recommend her.

Professor Pasquetto is very kind and knowledgable. This course is also very chill. The format is very nice as well! Just read or skim the reading before class and you should be fine. The class mostly consists of group projects and just discussing the readings but it is very interactive!

Professor Pasquetto is a very nice and knowledgeable professor. Her class is very interesting. In every class, we are assigned readings that we then talk about in class. The readings can be lengthy, but you can skim most of them if you don't have time to read. There is a decent amount of group work and at least two major group projects. The workload is very chill, and this is a class I hardly worry about. If you're interested in current societal issues (e.g., racism, gender issues, AI) and their intersection with technology, I highly recommend you take this class with Dr. Pasquetto.
