Dr. Raghavan is a great teacher. His slides are very well structured and informative. His teaching style is great as he connects what we learn to real world examples, and does a great job explaining everything. He teaches at a nice pace as well. He does his best in keeping the class enganing as well. He is very knowledgeable in what he is teaching and supportive of questions. His course website is very wel organized in ELMS, he has modules for all the topics, and posts all the slides, excel sheets that we worked on in class, and has past recordings posted (doesn't record current classes tho). There is typically 1 homework a week, and they closely follow in class examples, and usually arent that difficult and very fair. His exams are also very fair and just like his in class examples. Overall, great teacher and great, organized, useful class that is taught very well. |

Very good professor who seems to actually care about students and teaches very well. If you go to class, follow his excel models and actually try on the HW you will be in a good spot for this class. The exams are not too hard and almost exactly match the homeworks, his review sessions are also very helpful for getting ready for the exams. I would highly recommend taking this professor he is a nice, personable, and just a good lecturer. |
