Very nice professor that understands that no one cares about the class. I started skipping class because the work is so useless and easy. Just make stuff up and you'll get an A.

Super nice and understanding professor. Lectures can be kinda boring but she tries her best to make it engaging. Not too much work overall besides the semester long group project

Love love love professor Reitz she was amazing. So chill and lenient with deadlines, just communicate with her or the TA for extensions on assignments. The course only had 5 major assignments all semester: Two papers (both worth 20% each of total grade) (first one with at least two pages double spaced, and second paper no word limit/less formal), a group project broken into 3 parts which we worked on all throughout the semester, in-class and zoom (hybrid learning) participation (20% of total grade), and lastly a final presentation of the group project (10% of total grade). The group project was very cool, Informative, and easy. Each group gets assigned an actual Alexa device that one chosen person from the group gets to take home for the whole semester. Overall, super slight class if you need an extra easy elective or upper level INST course to fulfill your major course requirements DONT WALK BUT RUNNN to take Professor Reitz. she’s truly the best and cares for her students mental health. Definitely will take her again next semester.

Professor Reitz was great! If you come to class (in-class activities are a significant part of your grade), and complete the assignments on time, you should have no problem getting an A. You also want to make sure that you get a good group for the semester-long group project. The final exam was difficult.
