Zahra Saboori HLTH230 Expecting an A- Anonymous 05/13/2024	Solid professor. Simple class that only meets once a week. Weekly journals are easy and you will do well on exams as long as you attend class. The "required" textbook is not needed in any capacity
Zahra Saboori HLTH230 Anonymous 12/22/2023	A good amount of work for a 200 level course. Online discussions were graded very harshly so make sure to do well on these as they affect the grade a lot. Also, "due date" for discussions will always say Friday, but do not follow this because many turn it in late because it is actually due on Wednesday for the "original post." TA is nice as well as professor but no interaction in person or real live connection because this is fully online.
Zahra Saboori Anonymous 12/22/2023	Very nice professor with a kind personality HOWEVER - HLTH306 class was a hybrid format which did not work in the students favor. Lectures were watched outside of class ranging from 2-3 1/2 hours outside of class and then Thursday's were for in-class group discussion. This class really does not rely on a lot of assignments so if you want a good grade DO GOOD ON THE POLICY PAPER. By choice, I would not take this class again. Not to mention the grading for the papers and exams took a long time so you may think you are doing well and then a week and 1/2 before the semester ends you are not doing well.
Zahra Saboori HLTH306 Anonymous 12/18/2023	The tests in theory should be easy since a lot of the content is common sense and everything we have learned in the major so far, however, she words them weirdly and they contain a lot of formatting mistakes making them harder than they need to be. The course is not structured well and the recorded lectures were very boring, I feel like all the learning I did was outside of class instead of inside. This is true for the assignments as well, not many seemed directly relevant to what we learned but rather personal projects we must do unrelated to the class. Additionally, the professor herself can be a little unfair in terms of grading and condescending/showing blatant favoritism.
Zahra Saboori HLTH306 Anonymous 12/17/2023	Not very a very understanding professor and can be a little condescending/discouraging. The material itself is very interesting but she does not present it in a particularly engaging way and the extra material we have is not that necessary to understanding the content. We have final exams and midterms which were relatively easy, but due to the nature of this class (which is very discussion-heavy), I feel like a final essay might be more appropriate format.
Zahra Saboori HLTH285 Anonymous 04/21/2022	She's a super nice person but lectures were boring and you had to go to them because you didn't know when there would be an in-class assignment. lectures are very text heavy and she often incorporates a bunch of non-important information and she reads directly from the PowerPoint. Class is very writing-heavy too, with lots of reflection and papers which was crazy for a 200-level course. I wouldn't take or suggest this class honestly.
