Great professor who really knows what he's talking about. Study for the exams with the practice ones he gives you and GET 5'S ON THE QUIZZES(he gives you the problems they will be on form the textbook). Needed a B- and got a C but regardless he's truly an amazing teacher with a quirky sarcastic side. |

Brad is a great professor who talks fast but is more than open to questions during the lecture. I really like the way he taught. I did wish he had more office hours but he's truly overworked with no time in between classes :( I mean what's up with that UMD?? Tips: GO TO LECTURE -He gives "pop" quizzes (with warnings) -Seriously you're here to learn calc 2 GO TO CLASS STUDY FOR QUIZZES -12.5% of your final grade DO IT! -Good practice for exams EXAMS Do every single practice exam (he gives 3-4 examples from previous semesters) and you'll understand that he has hard exams but if you pay attention and make sure to study ahead you'll be ok WEBASSIGN Just do the damn webassign everyday and you'll basically get practice + 6.25% DO NOT JUST SYMBOLAB OR WOLFRAM all of them. Do the ones that you are struggling with. Overall I am happy having taken him. Unfortunately I needed a B- (woo internal transfer:( engineering) but I'll probably end up with a C. P.S Finals hard so don't count on it. |

While he talks fast, I think he does a great job at explaining the material. His lecture videos also help a bunch when it comes to understanding the material. His quizzes and tests are hard for sure, but all quiz questions come straight out of the textbook where you can try them out beforehand. Either way, be prepared to put in work if you take him. (I'd recommend at least 90 mins a day for practice and hw) |

Best math professor by far. If you have the opportunity to take Brad for 141, take it!! This class requires a lot of time and effort but Brad is very detailed in his explanations, his prefectures helped prepare me for class, and I just overall liked coming to his classes because they really helped me understand the material and concepts a lot better than I ever have and will. A big note to take under consideration: he has the hardest exams out of any of the math professors in 141, but don't let this intimidate you. They help prepare you so much, especially for the final, which isn't even written by him. I'm not big on test taking at all but Brad really tries to help prepare everyone for the exams and he's helpful at office hours and just in general. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! |
