The best teacher ever. Respond to email fast, enjoyable class, although the class itself is very long. There's genuinely not much work; if you show up to all classes, you will have absolutely no work for the class. There are 2-3 papers, but Jen is very lenient toward grading. You can receive a bad grade for the paper, but if you spend sometimes revising the paper based on her comment, you will definitely end the class with an A if not an A+. |

Jen is amazing!! She really cares about her students and what we are learning. There is a lot of content to get through in this class, and the class itself is about 2 hours and 45 minutes, but she makes sure we aren't just sitting for the whole class. The content is not difficult or anything, there's just a lot of it. She made sure to incorporate games or something fun into the class based on what we are learning, so we can actually apply the knowledge to something. There are really only 3 "big" assignments, but they aren't difficult. The assignments are straight forward, and she will answer any questions you have about it. She provides good feedback and gave opportunities to improve our grade. She wants you to succeed in this class, and she is very helpful. This class is required for Early Childhood Education/Early Childhood Special Education, but I would recommend this class as an elective, or to cover your DSHS gen ed credit, especially if you are interested in education. |
