A really sweet person. He wants to give you an A. Tests, quizzes, etc are really straight forward. If you show up to class and do extra work in lab (like help clean up), he's likely to give you Extra credit at some point. Pay more attention in class then I did (I wasn't good at this), try to go to every class ( I wasn't great at this), and do your readings (I didn't read so closely), and I have to imagine you'll get at least an A-. Labs are long and not thrilling, but that's labs, if this is class you'd like to take it he's a great guy, a solid teacher, and he'll grade nicely. |

Best professor I have ever had. Exams were very easy, and he is a very friendly person. I failed the first exam that I did not study for at all, but got an A on the second exam. Labs were fair but were boring at times. Fortunately we had Candace Pritchard as our TA and she helped out everyone. Lectures were boring, but I would take this class again since it wasn't difficult. |

It's an very interesting class about plant physiology, especially plant environmental stress physiology. Professor tries to expose students with basic knowledge of plant molecular biology, he is a professional plant biologist,so he can explain everything clearly, in an easy-to-learn way, even if you don't have strong backgroung of plant biology. There are student presentation(not hard, linked to real research work) and open final exam. Grading is very fair, and all students are happy with their grades(As). |
