Introduction to the physiology of pain and the philosophies, techniques, and evidence of efficacy of complementary and alternative therapies used to treat pain/chronic pain disorders, including massage therapy, dietary, mind-body practices, acupuncture, energy therapies, and Ayurvedic practices. Credit cannot be applied to the requirements of any Biological Sciences Major.
