Stefano is possibly the chillest professor I have ever taken. His lectures are interesting and he keeps the class engaging with guest speakers and group presentations. The entire class consists of a weekly slide post, your group presentation, and your research paper and that is it. Going into this class, I found art theory to be kind of useless and dumb. I still think it is kind of useless, but rather than dumb I do find it kind of interesting, especially when applied to things I know like video games and movies or TV. My section of the group presentation was literally about Dungeons & Dragons, Baldur's Gate 3, and 5D Chess with Multiverse Time Travel, and Stefano said my presentation was great. I think as long as you put a bit of work in and show some legitimate thought, Stefano will be impressed. You can also mention a banana selling for 6.2 million dollars if you want to see him chuckle. (We may have duct taped dozens of bananas to the wall on the last day of class before he arrived) |

Passeri is a great professor and he made this class really engaging and interesting. This is a very art and media studies based course, so the content was definitely very thought provoking for me. Basically, each week we had to complete a reading (which was usually really long) and submit a slide post of something that reflected the topic of the reading. The readings were usually really academic, so it made it hard to understand what the author really meant. In lecture, he would discuss the reading in a much more digestible way and open the class up for discussion. I felt kind of bad that I didn't participate much but you definitely should because it's truly just chill discourse with the class. He would also have guest speakers who had extremely interesting areas of study. The other assignments included a group presentation on a reading and a final paper with any topic (related to the class) of your choosing. In the end, this class is super interesting and one of the best courses I've taken so far. |

A professor who cares and makes the lecture fun. I enjoyed taking her class and hope she continues to teach more classes as I am willing to take. |

A very nice person. You can't really go around bsing with her though; she will take points off. |

Definitely knowledgeable about his field but overall a semi-boring class depending on the person. It's described as the 'English course' of the IMD major so take that as you will. Super easy and some of the material read is interesting. The whole class structure is to do the readings, discussion about the readings, do a project unrelated to the readings, then rinse and repeat. |

Cy is a very laid back professor, forgiving and kind, but as always be communicative of your needs. I had him for IMDM150, and in class we had great conversations on the reading material and state of tech. Class time and such meaningful discourse were greatly aided by the two TAs Charlotte Richardson-Deppe and Maggie Letvin. To succeed: get on Perusall (the reading platform) early and be engaged with the course content. There are very few actual assignments, so just stay up to speed. Glhf |

He has a lot to say. Very knowledgeable man, and a not-too-harsh grader compared to his co-instructor. He is pretty approachable and accommodating, and although I disliked the annotating rules on Perusall, I guess it helped me in the class. Discussions in class are pretty boring and you WILL inevitably fall asleep if you sit in the back, so just sit in the front and interact with the activity slides lol . Overall, Kenner himself is a nice guy, but the class can use some innovating. I know many aspiring IMD majors who took this class and dropped the major like a hot potato :') |

Extremely interesting professor who is super knowledgeable about his field. He is really accommodating and wants his students to succeed. IMDM150 was pretty discussion based and Cy created a really welcoming environment where people felt comfortable participating. I'm definitely glad I got to have him. |
