Specialized Topics in News Writing and Reporting; Applied Entrepreneurial Journalism

Prerequisite: JOUR501. Students will learn how to ideate and execute ambitious media projects in small groups from start to finish. We ll cover product and design thinking frameworks, project management techniques and business fundamentals to understand how to successfully launch a project as a working journalist.
