A journey through the mystical love poetry of some of the world's most important Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, and Buddhist mystical poets. Close reading of these poetic masterpieces alongside modern studies of mysticism and mystical poetry by scholars of literature, religious studies, and cognitive science. Taught in English.
