Examination of the revolutionary political and cultural transformations of twentieth-century Iran through the lens of modern Persian poetry and novels. Focus on works that played a central role in the nationalist, democratic (constitutionalist), feminist, Islamic, and anti-imperialist "revolutions" of modern Iran.
