Principles of Physics

Prerequisite: PHYS141; or students who have taken courses with comparable content may contact the department. Credit only granted for: PHYS142, (PHYS260 and PHYS261), or PHYS272. A continuation of PHYS141 covering waves, electricity and magnetism, optics and modern physics. The in-person lab associated with this course meets shortly after the online lecture. Students who do not live on or near campus may use 1412 PHY to attend the online lecture using their own laptops and headphones during the scheduled lecture time. Students may only use this room to attend the lecture on the days they will attend lab.
