Corequisite: TLPL312, TLPL321, TLPL446, and TLPL489. Restriction: Must be in the Elementary Education program; and permission of EDUC-Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership. Credit only granted for: TLPL343 or TLPL488F. Formerly: TLPL488F. Application of the materials, curriculum, teaching and learning practices and assessment methods associated with classroom reading programs designed to promote skilled and motivated readers in diverse elementary classrooms. Teacher candidates will learn to assess and scaffold students' self-regulated literacy learning in line with students' individual needs and Maryland College and Career Ready Standards.
