If you can take a course with Professor Brown, please do it! She is so experienced and you can tell how deeply she cares about her students. She has a lot of really cool guest speakers come in, a lot of opportunities to network, and is constantly bringing in snacks for the class. Everyone should get to experience a class with Professor Brown if you can!! Honestly, nothing bad I can say. |

It is honestly scary how wise and kind Professor Brown is. She has years and years of experience which she does her best to give to her students. I learned a lot from this class. Not only that, she tries her best to bring in interesting guest speakers and fed us with pizza, donuts and more at least six times throughout the semester. The only thing is that I don't feel like I got a ton of feedback from her personally. I did from the TA, however. I felt like a grew as a writer because I absorbed the information that was being given, not because she told me to do things personally. However, still a great professor and great class, would recommend if you are interested in feature writing and/or developing your writing voice. |
