She is a great professor. She always explains well and makes the class engaging, even with a boring topic. I would recommend you take her whenever you get the chance. Her study guides are great; complete them, remember what is on them, and you should have no trouble getting an A in her class. |

Two online exams that were similar to the study guide & class slides. 5 case studys & 1 presentation; the rubric was clear and grading was pretty easy as long as you met the basic requirements. Class content was pretty interesting and everything we learned seemed useful. 2 companies came into present and talked about how the content we are learning in class related to what they do at work. Professor Song was very accommodating & always had clear communication. |

Amazing professor! He cares a lot about creating a real learning environment where students genuinely interacting with the material as opposed to doing it for a grade. Loved the case studies and the assignments that prepped us for our discussions. He made this course such a wonderful experience. Not very test-heavy, just show up, learn, and interact (if you're comfortable). He also gives excellent feedback and hosts some really interesting discussions. Take him! |

Avoid this professor at all costs - he is one of the most incompetent and unorganized professors at the school. The exams are difficult and he expects you to know the intricacies of supply chain management (even though a lot of students are also international business majors without a supply chain background). He also takes forever to grade and give feedback. |

She is an amazing professor. She does a lot of discussions in class and doesn't give too much assignments. She is not a hard grader either. As long as you do the written case assignments and team presentations, you will get a good grade, assuming you study for mid term and final. :) |

Great professor. Always willing to answer questions and take time out of his day to help. Exams are hard but fair- study the slides and you’ll be fine. |

Koki is nice, however NICE DOES NOT EQUATE TO A GOOD PROFESSOR. He is terribly disorganized and does not have any idea of how the structure of the course works. I understand he has a bit of a language barrier, however he CANNOT articulate the course material effectively. He made all the groups redo completely the group project 3 different times because he could not make up his mind on what he wanted from us. Also his exams were overly specific on random topics of material. I WISH GARY COHEN STILL TAUGHT THIS COURSE. Koki is neither engaging nor a professor I found to learn meaningful content from. I really enjoyed Professor Cohen's class. His power points give a good basis of what you need to know for his exams. As others have mentioned, the group project is very open ended so you should be very thorough and try to get a good group. Cohen is one of the best professors in terms of getting to know his students and helping them with getting internships and jobs. My only complaint is that Professor Cohen tends to play favorites with certain students, which can be apparent at times. I suggest taking this class if you are interested in anything related to global supply chain as Professor Cohen has tons of experience in it. |

Cohen is great! He spends a lot of time discussing current events (and requires student participation) and the remaining time on lecture. His tests were somewhat difficult because they can be very specific but he gives lots of hints during class. Don't really need to take notes just go over the slides before the test, I don't think I read the textbook much at all. The group project can be a little annoying - its very open. Just make sure you get a good group! |

Cohen is a fine teacher, engages his students from the get-go with current events, personal stories and campy profanity that he isn't very good at. Going to class is important for the participation grade (10%) but as far as taking good notes it's not overly necessary, the slides are pretty good. He claims the tests are heavy on class specific material, but no. Read the book carefully and the tests are fine, the second one being the hardest of the three. The group project is kind of ambiguous, which is good if you have really enthusiastic group members but bad if you like to be told what to do step by step. At the end of the course there was about a 3% curve which gave me an A-, so overall not a bad course. |

First, let me qualify the other few posts. I believe these posts are from kids who want to make sweet love to the supply chain/suck up to teachers. ignore these other reviews. gary cohen is OK as a teacher. hes not as nice as a guy as everyone paints him to be. He came in saying the first test was going to be really easy, and the class average was an 82. overall, including all three tests, the class test average was an 85. this is obviously not very high. also, he takes A TON of test material straight from the book that he NEVER goes over in class. so basically, hes saying thanks for spending tens of thousands of dollars on an education you couldve gotten from an overpriced $120 textbook, which can teach just as well as i can. I'm an IB major, and I hate the supply chain. I also hadnt taken the other scm course, 372. i HATED this class. there is almost no reason to go to class, except i think he recognizes who is there and factors it into participation, so i highly recommend going. the class is graded on three tests, a project, two cases, and participation. its just too bad he doesnt quiz you on his own life, because sometimes the class turns into GCohen101: life of a gloves salesman. If you love scm, youll probably like this course. if think scm on the same level of excitement as the wnba, like i do, good luck and god speed. |

Prof. Nagata is awesome. He always smiles and is willing to listen to students. He teaches classes by powerpoints. Do go to the class and take notes especially when he gives answers to the questions on the powerpoints. The class can be boring sometimes but the material he covered in class will be on the exam. The two exams can be challenge. Focus more on the powerpoints and lectures notes and less on the book for exam preparation. I didn't like the course at first because I am an International student and don't have much knowledge about supply chain management. Mr. Nagata gives me a lot of help.He is the best prof. I have ever had. |
