Inaam Ngadi FREN203 Expecting an A- Anonymous 08/15/2024	Super nice lady and very forgiving. If I ever missed an online assignment or inclass writing she let you make up for it for full credit. Her lectures are fine, there are mini quizzes at the beginning of every class and graded attendance but that is uniform for all of the french program. She tries to make class interactive but it didn't really work out since its all based on what effort you put into the class which it didn't seem like many people were interested in learning french. Her lectures are just going over slides which are half review of the homework you did the day before. Even if you skip some classes its very survivable if you do your work, I skipped like 30% of lectures. For context I took AP french and skipped Fren201 and the first two months of Fren203 was review for me. Even if you don't take this professor i recommend you sticking with french no matter what :). you got this!
Morgan Stinson FREN203 Anonymous 05/13/2024	I am actually in love with this woman; she is easily one of the best professors I've ever had. I am really laid back and a generous grader, not a stickler for due dates, and very, VERY forgiving and understanding of personal issues. So kind, explains things really well, answers questions thoroughly and prepares her students for success. Cannot say enough good things about her I hope her pillow is cold on both sides every night
Apolline Lagarde FREN203 Expecting an A- Anonymous 12/06/2023	If you have the opportunity to take FREN203 with Apolline I highly suggest you do. She's easily the best professor I've had this semester. She's very nice and is always willing to answer her students questions to the best of her ability. I'm a freshman and she helped me a lot with the transition into college and understanding when the different assignments were due and helping me make the adjustment from high school French to college French.
Richard Adle FREN203 Expecting an A sp 11/09/2023	Rick is kind and very understanding. Every gripe I had with the class had to do with the class itself and not Rick. FREN203 is a fast-paced class and has online exams, in-class writing, speaking, and daily quizzes. This class itself has a lot of busywork and a lot of homework but to no fault of Rick. I think that if I had a professor any worse than Rick, this class would be miserable, but he makes class very engaging. I highly recommend him.
Apolline Lagarde FREN203 Expecting a B+ Anonymous 04/26/2023	Great teacher and super helpful with understanding more French vocabulary and grammatical concepts. If you're taking 203 I strongly recommend taking her class.
Mary Ellen Scullen FREN203 Expecting an A Anonymous 01/02/2021	Mme. Scullen was an awesome teacher. This class was a lot of work, but she is super understanding and flexible, and was honestly a great teacher who graded more based on your personal improvement, rather than completion of task. Helped me learn more French than I ever did through high school!
Erica Cefalo FREN203 Expecting an A+ clue 02/06/2011	Madame Cefalo is a wonderful teacher. She is funny and enthusiastic and tells cute stories that make class very fun. She encourages participation and explains grammar points clearly and thoroughly. The exams are not hard as long as you pay attention in class and review past quizzes, which have a lot of the information that you need to succeed in the exams. The homework can be long, but it's very straightforward.

If you have the opportunity to take FREN203 with Apolline I highly suggest you do. She's easily the best professor I've had this semester.
