Cathy Chen BMGT484 Expecting an A Anonymous 04/04/2024	This class is really easy, but super disappointing. I was really looking forward to Digital Marketing, and this class was so un-engaging I don't think anyone in my section learned anything. She is nice but screams during her lecture and uses an extremely monotone voice which made it difficult to want to focus on. All of the assignments were pretty easy and essentially busy work. Good if you want a GPA boost but not if you're really interested in the content.
Wendy Moe BMGT484 Expecting an A Anonymous 11/28/2023	Class is super confusing and little to no guidance is given on any assignments. There are only 4 grades for the whole semester and it was stressful to complete an assignment with 2 sentence descriptions. She's a sweet professor but I can tell this class is not one she cares about.
Mary Harms BMGT484 Anonymous 03/09/2022	Such a nice and experienced professor. Her industry knowledge is really rich and valuable. The con would be that most of the time I found myself having run ins when it came to assignment directions. These directions were not clear or concise and when I asked for further direction it contradicted what she had stated in the directions. This happened quite frequently and it was really frustrating. Course load is moderate tp high. A huge absence in lectures which did not help at all when it came to preping for exams. "Lectures" included guest speakers.
Mary Harms BMGT484 Anonymous 02/21/2022	Very nice and knowledgeable in this field. However, I felt like I had to scramble a lot throughout the class to figure out what was going on. Barely taught any of the content needed for the exams, rather it was all placed on slides. Provides study guides but they barley mirror the exam.
Michael Trusov BMGT484 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/17/2019	Professor Trusov is very passionate about what he teaches and it shows. However, his lectures can drag on and the textbook reading can be a bit monotonous. He does give GREAT study guides for his exams which really help out with studying. Overall- I would take Professor Trusov again.
Elie Ashery BMGT484 Anonymous 01/05/2018	As a teacher he's laid back but does have an arrogant side to his personality. He loves bragging about his company. The group project was a monster- a 35 page paper. His test questions are all multiple choice and come directly from the book so going to class was pointless to me. The personal website project seems like a lot of work but is manageable.

Michael Trusov BMGT484 Anonymous 12/17/2014	It's an easy class but by far the most pointless I have ever taken. The information you learn in this class is so simple you feel like you're back in middle school. I have taken some bad classes but this one is by far the most useless class I have ever taken.
Mary Harms BMGT484 Expecting an A Haflarkity 04/25/2013	Professor Harms is a fantastic professor. She isn't your run of the mill professor who lectures, gives exams and group projects. She really engages the class and genuinely cares about her students. I would recommend getting to know her well, she is really insightful and eager to help you in any way. I am really glad I took the course too--it was very interesting and relevant to many majors.
Mary Harms BMGT484 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/15/2012	Super lady. Real nice and will occasionally cancel class for reasons such as "its too nice out" or "spring break is almost here anyway". study guides for all multiple choice finals. takes attendance but pretty chill class.
William Rand BMGT484 Anonymous 12/15/2011	Great class to take! He is very knowledgeable and is a great teacher. He posts grades right away and grades fairly. The group project is a lot of work but worth it since the topics are interesting. Exams are fair too.
Michael Trusov BMGT484 Expecting an A orioles21 12/17/2009	Really respectable teacher. Exams are very easy, just do the book questions and follow his study guide. The website projects (one personal one group) are not at all bad. My group got a 100% on our group paper/website prototype. Participation is determined based on completing the online assignments at the end of class. Not a bad class, you learn some helpful stuff. Definitely take 484 with Trusov for Marketing elective credit
