Very solid professor. Does what he can to make the class as easy as possible for students, but also makes his classes pretty entertaining. |

Daniela was so nice and understanding. She wanted all of her students to succeed. There was a lot of work because the course was over winter break and it was only 3 weeks long, but it was really easy. I will say she is a very picky grader. She is very big on participation, I answered every other question and got an A- in participation. She graded the test portions pretty hard for students who are not supposed to have a Spanish background. Overall, if you do the work and show up for the zooms you should do well. |

1000/10 TAKE HER CLASS it will be the best thing you'll do. sweetest teacher I have ever had she genuinely cares and wants you to do well. She's respectful even if you're terrible at Spanish and nice to talk to in general. She rounded our final grade and wasn't harsh on the midterm or final. I recommend her to everyone I know who is planning to take Spanish. she's just so sweet, after a terrible event last on campus she let us have class outside and bought everyone coffee to reach out to us. please give her a much-deserved raised UMD language department. |

She's phenomenal and genuinely cares about the success of students. She does a great job of keeping everyone engaged. As long as you stay on top of the homeworks and stuff, you should do well in this class. |

Jorge seems like a great guy, however, it was clear that he was very new to teaching. I have confidence that his teaching will improve as he becomes more experienced. He provided great feedback on the midterms, which shows that he cares about his students. The teaching in class in minimal, since a lot of the content is learned from weekly online modules. Occasionally, we played Kahoot in class, which was fun. |

She's awesome. To this day, she's probably one of my favorite professors I've had at UMD. She really cares for her students and I learned a lot in her class. I really hope I can take another class with her in my remaining time at UMD. She's fantastic! |

Spanish has always been hard for me but she doesn't make a big deal if you aren't fluent or too willing to participate. She makes funny sound effects and is generally entertaining to be around. I just wish the material was reviewed more after we had moved on from the previous section. We went through the info pretty quickly and that didn't help me on the tests |

Canabal is great, I would recommend her. If you put in the effort to participate and speak spanish in class you should do well. Its not easy for everyone, but if you have taken spanish before you should be able to survive. |

Really great teacher overall. She gives you the opportunity to learn through experience rather than memorizing charts and vocabulary from the book. Best Spanish teacher I've had so far. |
