Loved Furst! She is a great teacher and always engaged! The class is discussion based but there is no pressure and low stakes. The cases used in class are very relevant and interesting from a consumer's perspective. The capstone project was boring and assigned weekly but it is not too difficult. The exam/quizzes are short and usually intuitive, but can be slightly challenging based on the wording. She was my favorite professor at Smith! |

Professor Furst is one of the best professors I have had as a student, her personality is amazing and she is always very kind to everyone. You can tell she cares about her students. The structure of this class was very straightforward and wasn't too much work either. Would recommend her! |

Great teacher though. Exams are always about concept ideas. The lectures were always engaging. I felt like the class could have been taught twice a a week to cover the materials better. |

Professor Furst is the kindest professor I've had so far. She makes an effort to know every one of her students and always asks how we are doing in the course and constantly offers support and advice. She is also an extremely good instructor because she makes the material very relatable. The course itself is good and the course load isn't too much work (3 assignments a week and an in-class assignment). I would recommend Furst over any other instructor for this course. |

Extremely nice teacher. Tries very hard to make the once a week classes interesting and engaging, and uses examples that we are familiar with to get tough concepts to click. She is very understanding and helpful if you are confused, and puts in a lot of effort to make sure you succeed in the class. Exams are kinda hard, but she is an amazing person and will help you a lot if you put the time in. |
