Special Topics in Iberian and Latin American Studies; Puro Cuento: Reading Latin America's Cultural Zones

Prerequisites: SPAN331, SPAN332, SPAN333, SPAN361, SPAN362, or SPAN363; or permission of instructor. This course studies a selection of twentieth and twenty first century stories from Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, the Andean countries, and the Southern Cone that 'reflect' and anticipate the changes that have taken place in the region.
